In 2008, I became certified in pet first aid and CPR through Pet Tech and received their Pet Saver certificate.
In 2010, I became certified in pet first aid and CPR through Red Cross.
Background I've had dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, turtles, fish, and birds. Currently, I have horses, cats and chickens. Three of the cats are deaf so I've had to learn ways of non-verbal communication.
I spent my teen-age years living next to a dairy farm in Northville and did their chores for *fun*. I was involved in 4-H as a teen and later as a 4-H group leader for kids interested in horses.
In my early twenties I worked at a Thoroughbred horse farm, Red-Bob Farm in Oxford, Michigan, as an exercise rider teaching 2 year-old horses to race.
I worked, part-time until the owners retired in 2011, at Renaissance Morgan Farm for over 10 years helping their trainer with the care, breeding, and training of these beautiful horses.
My German Shepherd, Daisy, and I received basic and intermediate dog obedience certificates from Jeremy Montange, who teaches dog obedience in Chelsea, Michigan.
I've made my home in Chelsea since 1979. My husband and I enjoy all that the area has to offer.
I've worked for over 30 years in the computer industry, most recently as a programmer for Ford Motor Company. I also own a computer consulting business, Marg Doub Computer Solutions.
