Additional ChargesHoliday ChargesHoliday visits are billed an additional $10.00 per visit. These holidays include New Year’s Eve Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.
MileageBecause more time is required to visit pets who live further than 10 miles from my home, those visits include a round-trip charge of $.50 per mile for each mile over 10 miles.
Example: You live 14 miles from my home. The extra 8 round-trip miles will incur a charge of $.50 a mile for an additional charge of $4.00 per visit. We are located between M- 52 and Clear Lake Road. We use internet maps to determine mileage. When we first come to your home to meet you and your pets, the mileage is double-checked and we will inform you of the exact charge. Additional TimeA visit that takes longer than 1 hour is billed at $35 an hour or $8.75 for each 15-minute increment of the hour.
This charge is applied when a client requests additional time OR when a situation arises requiring extra time. We will leave an invoice detailing the additional charges. Please send payment within 5 business days. |
PoliciesExclusionsNo once-a-day visits for dogs without safe, 24/7 outside access.
No every-other-day, or fewer, visits for cats and most other pets. PaymentNew client - full payment is due at our first meeting.
Existing vacation client - full payment is due at the beginning of the sit. Existing weekday client - full payment is due at the beginning of each week. Cancellation
24-hour notice is required to cancel a visit. If we arrive at your home and find that you do not need service and did not notify us in advance, the full visit fee will apply.
Inclement WeatherIn extreme weather conditions or a 'No Travel Advisory' we will resume our visits as soon as it is safe to travel. If we are not able to visit as planned, we may adjust the timing of our visits, leave extra water, food, litter, etc., or contact your designated alternate emergency contact.
